This is a FREE, 5-day overnight camp experience designed for kids with Recessive Dystrophic EB.
We can accept 10 Campers age ranges 9-18.
Location: YMCA of the Rockies – Granby, CO

For many of the children and our volunteers, Camp Spirit is an experience that spans far beyond a week at camp. This is a warm and supportive environment where children can be themselves and have fun with others who are just like them. Check out our Photo Gallery

At Camp Spirit Colorado, we understand that your decision to send your child away to camp is a very sensitive and potentially difficult one. The health and safety of your child is of paramount concern to us. For 17 years, we have worked hard to anticipate and prepare so that camp is fun, campers feel at home and safety isn't a concern.

ABOUT OUR CAMP COUNSELORS AND PARTNERS

Staffed by Physicians, EB Nurses, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Music Therapists, Cooks and others dedicated to the EB Community.
A well-balanced team that is very familiar with EB medical care including dressing changes and feeding tube protocol. We ensure that the campers are learning to advocate for themselves and help direct their own care.
We work with trained recreational teams that understand how to adapt equipment and make activities safe.
